01 The people behind the work
Sam
Founder & Advanced Scaffolder
Sam is a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder with 20 years’ experience across a wide range of scaffolding projects. He started his career at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, working on the maintenance team erecting scaffolding for boiler repair call-outs and full boiler access during planned outages.
After the station closed, Sam spent several years working away before founding SAM Scaffolding to be home each night with his children and family. That family focus remains at the heart of the business, alongside the pride, care and high standards he brings to every job.
Jack
Part 1 Scaffolder
Jack has been part of the SAM team for two years, starting in the yard painting and sorting materials before joining us full time. Now a Part 1 scaffolder, he works alongside Sam as his second man on the tools.
Keen, loyal and always ready to learn, Jack has been trained the SAM way from day one—with pride in his work and high standards at the heart of everything he does.
Eddi
Scaffolding Labourer
Eddi has been part of the SAM team for a year and recently completed his COTS course at SIMIAN. Hardworking and dedicated, he plays a key role in keeping our jobs moving.
Eddi is due to start a scaffolding apprenticeship, building on the skills he is developing alongside Sam and Jack. His close friendship with Jack and enthusiasm for the job make him a valued part of the team and a brilliant addition to SAM.
